Would not recommend.
Ice maker repair quoted at $465 — for a $130 part and about 30 minutes of labor. Egregious markup aside, MrFix runs a terrible operation. The technician barely spoke English, was extremely forgetful, and disorganized.
He arrived on time, checked the temperature, then quoted ~$430 to fix it the next day. I agreed, assuming a thorough diagnosis and repair would follow. Instead, the invoice had no line items, just a vague charge.
When he returned, he didn’t even remember why he was there. After repeating the basic inspection, he claimed the entire ice maker needed replacement. I had to leave for work, and he pressured my wife into paying another $497 — despite the fact I'd already paid the day before. I was able to intercept and demand a refund, which they processed (sketchily) through a Square transaction.
As a handy person, I know the actual issue: $130 part, 30 minutes of work. I’ll do it myself next time. Avoid this company.

Oscar was great! Called early in the morning and he came the same afternoon. Fixed our dryer quickly and also showed me a few things I can do maintenance-wise to keep everything running smoothly.

Oscar was great! He was here within 30 minutes of our call to fix a leaking dishwasher. Repair was made, he cleaned up and was done within an hour. Grateful for his quick work.
